These are the conditions for using this site, the personal site of Abdullah Khaled, a full-stack engineer based in Giza, Egypt. If you do not accept them, please do not use it. The rules for the site's interactive features — contact form, newsletter, accounts, store — are on the Terms of Service page.

1. Ownership of the content

The writing, layout, images and code published here are mine unless stated otherwise. You are welcome to read them, quote a short passage with a link back, and share the URL. You may not republish a page in full, present the work as your own, or resell any part of the site.

2. Code samples

Code published here illustrates a point. Use it at your own risk and test it before it goes anywhere near production.

3. Case studies and client work

The projects described on this site are work I delivered as an employee, contractor or technical lead. The products, company names and trademarks mentioned belong to their owners; naming them is not a claim of ownership, partnership or endorsement. Where an engagement is covered by a confidentiality agreement, the description is deliberately general.

4. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break into the site, scrape it at a rate that degrades it, submit malicious input, or use the contact form or newsletter to send spam. Automated access that ignores robots.txt is not welcome.

5. Accuracy

I keep this site current, but technical writing ages and details change. Nothing here is professional advice for your particular situation, and reading it does not create an engineer-client relationship.

Links to GitHub, LinkedIn and other sites are there for convenience. I do not control those sites and I am not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

7. Liability

The site is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for loss or damage arising from using it, from relying on something published on it, or from it being unavailable.

8. Changes

I may update these conditions. Changes apply from the moment they appear on this page.

9. Governing law

These conditions are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and any dispute about them belongs to the courts of Giza.
