The problem

Aspiring developers needed practical full stack skills that connect into a complete application, not isolated lessons. The gap was rarely syntax alone, but how backend structure, routing, business logic, databases, and frontend components fit into one lifecycle from idea to working software.

My role

Full Stack Instructor in Alexandria from July 2018 to April 2020, delivering hands on training in PHP, Laravel, WordPress, Angular, JavaScript, HTML and CSS, with emphasis on debugging, code review, and clear technical communication.

Program

• Backend foundations: PHP and Laravel structure, routing, business logic, databases with MySQL, and REST concepts connecting server work to frontend needs.
• Frontend delivery: Angular component based screens with JavaScript, HTML and CSS, showing how data from REST APIs becomes usable views.
• WordPress practice: theme and content flows in WordPress for rapid site delivery alongside custom Laravel builds.
• Professional habits: debugging, code review, and technical communication, so trainees could explain decisions and sustain quality on real teams.

Outcome
