The problem

IT PLUS served many business domains from one engineering group, including real estate, e-commerce, ERP, CRM, LMS, portfolios, and POS. Clients needed reliable web platforms plus live communication that did not depend on outside meeting services, built to run in the browser for everyday teams.

My role

Full Stack Developer in El Sheikh Zaid from June 2021 to December 2023, starting on backend with native PHP, MVC conventions, and a custom framework, then expanding across Laravel, WordPress, Angular, Ionic, and WebSockets for real time applications.

Architecture

• Native PHP foundation: built backend structure, routing, business logic, and database access with native PHP and MVC patterns backed by MySQL, before moving selected systems to Laravel.
• Multi domain delivery: shipped sites and systems for real estate, e-commerce, ERP, CRM, LMS, portfolio showcases, and POS flows, sharing REST APIs, JavaScript, and consistent data models.
• Custom live meeting: built a real time video streaming and meeting solution from scratch in the style of Zoom and Meet, with live rooms, media handling, and WebSockets for presence and room updates.
• Frontend reach: delivered Angular web screens and Ionic mobile flows sharing the same REST APIs, with Digital Authentication guarding accounts and sessions.

Outcome

One team covered the full range from native PHP systems to Laravel and WordPress platforms with Angular and Ionic clients, plus a self built live meeting tool that removed reliance on outside services for everyday calls and classes.
